Class A Training for Washington & Oregon
Typically 4 weeks160 hoursMon–Thu, 7:00–5:30
Prepare to enter the truck driving profession as an entry-level local, regional, or over-the-road driver.

Before you start
- Valid Washington State driver’s license
- DOT physical exam
- Commercial Learner’s Permit
- Age 18+, or 21+ for interstate driving
- High school diploma, GED, or ability-to-benefit test
6–8 students accepted per month. Maximum 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio.
Class B CDL Training for Washington Applicants
Typically 2 weeks80 hoursMon–Thu, 7:00–5:30
Learn the foundations for Class B driving, including dump trucks, box trucks, fire trucks, and other local commercial vehicles.

- Pre-trip inspection and safety checks
- Backing, turning, and lane control
- Highway and city driving
- Focused Washington CDL test preparation
- Local career support
Before you start
- Valid Washington driver’s license
- DOT medical card or physical
- Commercial Learner’s Permit
- Age 18+
- High school diploma, GED, or ability-to-benefit test
4 students accepted per month. Maximum 2:1 instructor ratio.
Class B to A Upgrade
Typically 3 weeks120 hours40 classroom + 80 behind the wheel
Already hold a Class B CDL? Build the knowledge and behind-the-wheel skills for Class A driving.
Training includes
- Manual or automatic transmission choice
- Pre-trip training and evaluations
- Skills maneuver training and evaluations
- Public road training
- Weekly proficiency evaluations
